We ventured into the big city to take the girls to their very first baseball game. It was a special promotions day that the Mariners do every year to celebrate families touched by adoption and foster care. We received free baseball hats, a player poster, and we got to walk all the way around the field before the game. The weather wasn't the greatest (fairly breezy) but at least it wasn't raining.

Oh -- and for the game to begin.

Ruby sporting her new hat. She had it easy all day -- riding in the Ergo on Mom's back to and from the ballpark. Everyone else had to walk the 30 minutes from the ferry to the ballpark, then all the way around the field for the pre-game parade of families, and then back to the ferry at the end of the game. Needless to say, everyone slept VERY well after our long, exciting day.

We were there, too! I even blogged about it. :) The kids had a blast, even though the M's didn't pull through.
Very cool - and it was a good game - at least until the 8th inning! Glad that ya'll had a good time!
hugs - aus and co.
wow, I haven't caught up with you guys in a long time! Ruby is getting so big!
We had some big, very exciting news recently for Maya. Her special need is GONE! Gone! From worst case scenario to best.
Life is good.
Next year, it is a date! We didn't know about it :( Last year our agency really played it up, but this year they sent out nothing, but they've also had a change in staff. So next year, let me know, and we will meet in person!
How awesome that you got to go out on the field. Kettle Corn ROCKS!!
Oh my goodness! I had no idea about this!! Next year I'll have to really pay attention and join you guys. And I see Jolene left a comment about this too-- we'll just have to make it a big fun group outing!
Be blessed,
Courtney
